HB Honey
“Tinh túy từ rừng, trọn vị thiên nhiên” — the essence of the forest, the full taste of nature.
01 — The brief
Slow food, filmed slowly
A short promotion for HB — Hoa Ban Food — and its longan-flower honey and bee pollen, gathered in the forests of north-west Vietnam.
The film stays close to the product: honey that takes its time to pour, wooden lids engraved with the HB mark, brocade labels and agarwood bark on warm timber. Low key light and a dark backdrop let the amber do the talking

02 — Texture
The pour
Shot at high frame rate, so every thread of honey hangs a little longer.
Longan-flower honey
Dark, floral and slow — lit from behind so the colour glows.
“Good honey never hurries.”
03 — The range
From the forest
Mật ong hoa nhãn

Brocade labels drawn from north-west textiles
04 — Frames
Stills from the film
Graded for warmth: deep shadows, honey highlights.
